The turbocharger manufacturing facility is a pre-engineered metal building
designed with stylwall metal panels and curtain wall systems and a structural
concrete slab on grade designed for 250 lbs./sq. ft. on precast concrete
piles. The entire building is equipped with a fire sprinkler system
and was designed for future expansion. A separate building on the 322,700
sq. ft. site was designed for an industrial waste and sewer treatment
plant. Storm water retention basins were also incorporated into the
design of the site.
The First Floor includes: lobby/reception, offices, conference room,
full service kitchen, employee dining, kitchen, employee dining, men's
and women's toilets, locker rooms and showers, manufacturing area, equipment
room, battery room, receiving area and loading dock. The Second Floor
Mezzanine includes: administrative offices, conference rooms, computer
room and toilets.
HJM ARCHITECTS, INC. provided comprehensive architectural services for
the project and coordinated the civil, structural,
mechanical, electrical and fire protection engineering services.
