This was a personal experience project by Powell Minnis while employed by PGAV, Inc.

Design services were provided, including restoration documents, for an interpretive center for the Woolen Mill, home, school, and church at Watkins Woolen Mill State Historic Site, Kearney, Missouri. Watkins Woolen Mill contains the most important collection of in-place, antique textile equipment in North America and represents one of the finest historic industrial structures still containing its original equipment.

The interpretive center features exposed timber construction and houses a gallery, museum, artifact archival work spaces and a lecture hall.
