176,000 square feet HJM Architects provided comprehensive architectural and interior design services, as well as coordinating engineering services for this 8 story structure. The building houses 4 levels of parking and 4 levels of medical office space. It is connected to the Truman Medical Center Hospital Complex by an enclosed bridge and is also connected to the adjacent Eye Foundation Institute, also designed by HJM Architects. The entire structure is of precast concrete, including exterior wall panels, interior columns and beams, and double tee floor and roof slabs. The majority of the exterior wall panels have embedded brick veneer facings and some of the exterior concrete panels have an exposed aggregate finish for contrast. |
