Fire Stations #2 and #3 were designed with a residential character to blend in with their individual neighborhoods. Exterior materials include colored concrete brick and composition shingles. The same design was utilized at both sites for function and economy. The budget for each station included all site work and landscaping.

Each facility was designed to meet ADA requirements and includes: a double wide apparatus bay with shop/storage room, office/study, exercise room, day room and kitchen/dining area opening to an exterior screened patio, toilets with showers and a bunk room with personal closet units. The interior design has a residential character for the comfort of fire fighters.

HJM Architects, Inc. provided complete architectural services for the project and coordinated the civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering services. HJM received a letter of appreciation from the Fire Chief for these projects.
